G. Moffett Cochran is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC. Prior to forming Silvercrest, Cochran served as Chairman of DLJ Asset Management Group and then as President of Credit Suisse Asset Management LLC following the acquisition of DLJ by Credit Suisse in 2000.

Cochran began his career with J.P. Morgan & Co. before accepting a position with Bessemer Trust Company, N. A. where he became Senior Vice President and Director of Client Banking as well as a member of the Management and Executive Committees. Cochran joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) in 1992 and became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DLJ Asset Management Group and its various subsidiaries.

At the time of its sale to Credit Suisse in 2000, DLJ Asset Management Group had grown to nearly $40 billion in assets. At Credit Suisse Asset Management LLC, Cochran served as President and was a member of its Global Operating Committee. In this capacity, he oversaw the Credit Suisse's entire $300 billion asset management business, including its $11 billion private client division and its $12 billion alternative investment business. Cochran graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in English and from the University of Virginia School of Law with a J.D.

Martin Jaffe is the Chief Operating Officer of Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC. Most recently, Jaffe served as Chief Operating Officer of DLJ Asset Management Group and then as Chief Financial Officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management LLC after Credit Suisse acquired DLJ in November 2000.

Jaffe began his career at U.S. Trust Company. Thereafter, Jaffe joined Mitchell Hutchins where he was responsible for a substantial book of private client business that he moved in 1981 to Wood, Struthers & Winthrop, the investment management subsidiary of DLJ. At DLJ, Jaffe served as Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for building and overseeing systems, operations and tax and financial planning activities. After the sale of DLJ to Credit Suisse, Jaffe served as Chief Financial Officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management LLC.

A long-time participant and Board member of the International Association for Financial Planning (now known as the Financial Planning Association), Jaffe served as its President and Chairman of the Board from 1994 until 1996. In addition, Jaffe has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Financial Planning at New York University for over twenty years. Jaffe graduated from Pace University and he received his MBA from Pace.
