A subsidiary of Silvercrest, The LongChamp Group, Inc. was created in 1981 as a family office
for a wealthy European family. For more than 20 years it has outsourced the management of its
investments to an array of outside managers, principally hedge fund managers dedicated to
precisely defined investment disciplines. Based upon its 20 years of experience in working
with outside managers, LongChamp has developed a proprietary database of information on several
hundred managers and Silvercrest’s clients have access to this considerable body of expertise.
