Alphonse Chan, Jr., CFA is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. He joined Silvercrest in 2019 as a result of Silvercrest’s acquisition of Neosho Capital, where he was Co-CIO. Prior to Neosho, Mr. Chan worked at Brandes Investment Partners for 19 years as a Director of Portfolio Management and Emerging Markets Investment Committee member. Previously, he was a Senior Financial Analyst at Bank of America and began his career at the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. Mr. Chan received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from University of California, Irvine. He is a CFA charterholder.
