Brian P. Hilderbrand, CFA, is a Director and Portfolio Manager at Silvercrest, he joined in 2025 with nearly 20 years of experience serving institutional and high net worth clients. He was previously Co-Portfolio Manager at VELA Investment Management, where he helped oversee the VELA Small Cap Fund. Earlier, Mr. Hilderbrand was a Research Analyst at Diamond Hill Capital Management. He also served as an Investment Analyst at Homrich Berg, one of Atlanta’s largest independent wealth managers, where he managed hedge fund and private equity fund of funds portfolios and advised family office clients on alternative investments. Additional analyst roles include LCG Associates and Reliance Trust. Mr. Hilderbrand holds an MBA from London Business School, and a BBA in Finance with a Minor in Statistics from the University of Georgia, graduating Magna Cum Laude. A CFA charterholder, he is active in financial literacy, having founded a children’s program in London and volunteered as a math instructor for adults in Atlanta.
