Martin Loeser is Head of Manager Research and a Portfolio Manager at Silvercrest. Mr. Loeser joined Silvercrest as a result of Silvercrest’s acquisition of Ten-Sixty Asset Management where he was a Director of Hedge Fund Investments. Previously, Mr. Loeser co-founded Great Atlantic Capital Management, LLC, an equity focused fund of funds. Prior to Great Atlantic, Mr. Loeser was the Senior Portfolio Manager in the fund of funds group at PRS Group. In this role, he was responsible for the firm’s equity-related hedge fund investments, including long/short equity, equity arbitrage, event driven, emerging markets equity, short-based equity, long/short crest and distressed strategies. Prior to joining PRS Group, Mr. Loeser was a Senior Investment Analyst at Ivy Asset Management, a $16 Billion fund of funds manager in New York. At Ivy, he was directly responsible for sourcing and selecting new equity managers, with a focus on emerging managers. Previously, he was a Vice President at The Mayfair Group and Senior Analyst at Tower Capital, conducting manager due diligence, risk management and portfolio management. Mr. Loeser received a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
