Russell B. Brown, CFA, is a Director and Portfolio Manager overseeing the management of the taxable fixed income accounts. Mr. Brown joined Silvercrest in May 2005 from Hughes Capital Management in Virginia, where he managed institutional fixed income portfolios. Prior to that, he managed private and institutional fixed income accounts for Henry Kaufman & Co. and its successor firm, Kaufman & Kubarych Advisors. His first assignment in fixed income was as a portfolio manager for Continental Insurance. Mr. Brown has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and an MBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College.
