Steve Lilly, CFA is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. He joined Silvercrest in 2019 as a result of Silvercrest’s acquisition of Cortina Asset Management, where he was a portfolio manager. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the investment industry. Mr. Lilly provides in-depth research on health care, energy, and consumer sectors. Mr. Lilly has been an institutional investor focused on small and mid-cap growth equities since 1996, spending the first decade of his career with Stein, Roe & Farnham, now known as Columbia Threadneedle. After five years as an Equity Research Analyst, he began managing small and mid-cap mutual fund and institutional assets in 2001. After leaving Columbia Management Group in 2005, Mr. Lilly served as Portfolio Manager at Peak6 Investments, a leading options trading firm. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. Mr. Lilly received a BS from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
