Colm Galvin, CIFD, QFA, is a Director and Portfolio Manager. Prior to Silvercrest, he was a Founding Partner at MGK Capital Partners, a three-family office platform investing across public markets, private equity, and real estate, bringing together families from Abu Dhabi, New York, and Ireland. Before founding MGK, Mr. Galvin served as Head of Global Markets U.S. for Bank of Ireland, where he led the Group’s U.S. Markets division. His responsibilities spanned FX risk management, interest rate risk management, deposit solutions, and oversight of the Group’s U.S. Treasury division. He was honoured as one of the Top 50 Irish Americans on Wall Street by Irish America magazine in 2024 and 2023. He received a degree in Finance from University College Cork. Mr. Galvin holds designations as a Certified Investment Fund Director and Qualified Financial Adviser, and is a member of the Institute of Bankers.
