Robert K. Choi, CFA is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. He joined Silvercrest in 2019 as a result of Silvercrest’s acquisition of Neosho Capital, where he was a Principal and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Choi has over 35 years of experience in the investment industry. He is an equity analyst and member of the International Value team, specializing in the selection of non-U.S. small cap securities. Mr. Choi began his financial services career in brokerage trading and operations, initially with Jack White & Co. in San Diego, then as a manager at Charles Schwab. In 1997, he joined Brandes Investment Partners as an associate portfolio manager, eventually ascending to the role of Director of Portfolio Management. Mr. Choi received a B.A. in Economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
